FAQ:

How much does it cost?

The fee to join the competition circuit is 50.00.  This fee gives you membership in the SHOOTSIG community with all membership benefits as outlines on the website.  To shoot any of the events it costs a 45.00 enter fee per event.  In other words, 50.00 to join SHOOTSIG + Shooting in the Delta Peach Bottom Event 365 Division 45.00 + Shooting in the Delta Peach Bottom Event 320 Division 45.00 = 140.00.  Fees may vary depending on sponsorships and site.  We are working on getting the fees reduced for the DPBFNG event.

Can I just visit the event without shooting the competition?

Of Course! Sig Sauer will have a variety of firearms on site for Demo purposes.  Just bring some money for extra ammo if you find something you really like.  Sig will also allow you to use one of their firearms to shoot the competition if you find something you want to give a test drive. (Fees apply) We will also have food and Sig Sauer products on site for purchase.  Need some Sig Mags? T shirt? Hat?  We got it covered.

Where do I sign up?

It is best to sign up before the event on Practiscore.  The link to sign up can be found on the SHOOTSIG website under “Match Schedule”.  Once the spots are full they are full.

Can I shoot the competition more than once?

Yes, you will have to pay a fee each time but repeating a run and even doing multiple runs in different categories is encouraged.

Do I have to use Sig equipment?

No, you can compete with any brand of firearms that follows the guidelines set in the SHOOTSIG rule book.  However, if you don’t use Sig firearms you are not eligible for Sig prizes.  Let’s face it, it’s a Sig event and we want to see all those Sigs in action.

Will there be prizes at each event?

Yes, each division will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the site’s event if enrollment in the division is enough to support the awards.  So, like with most things, the more you play the better your chances of a prize.  In addition, DPBFNG will be raffling off a few Sig Sauer firearms during our event.  Specifics for the prizes and raffle will be announced at the event, but so far have been firearms, optics, and other good stuff.

Can I practice beforehand? Where can I find stage info?

SHOOTSIG.COM  Each stage has a video and runs you through the competition.  You can see exactly what to expect.

I don’t own a gun but want to purchase one, is this a good place to see and try out some handguns?

Yes, Sig will have a variety of firearms on site for demo purposes.  You are the person SHOOTSIG is looking for.  We want you to be knowledgeable and comfortable with you first purchase and want to introduce you to competition shooting in a low key, enjoyable atmosphere.  The SHOOTSIG event will have Range Safety Officers (RSO) at each stage and knowledgeable staff to help you with any questions.  At the Club event several of the RSO’s are also experienced firearms instructors and Sig Sauer will also have representatives on site.  If you’re interested in Sig, this is the place to be.
